James Boyce is owner and CEO of the 142-year-old Marin French Cheese Company, America’s oldest continuous operating cheese factory. When Jim purchased Marin French in 1998, the company was producing four dairy deli cheeses for local grocery stores. By 2004 Marin French had grown to retail and distribute 40 cheeses for dairy and service deli departments as well as food service operations nation wide. The national expansion entered venues such as independent cafes and upscale restaurants, specialty and chain grocery stores as well as warehouse and club stores.

Jim’s passion is producing foods without chemical interferences. His 1990’s organic crop improvement association certified meat production facilities encompassing 3 million acres in California and Nevada were the largest OCIA farming and ranching operation in the world.

Jim enjoys traveling, skiing, and hiking.
