Here's a quick and easy way to peel tomatoes, plums, and peaches.
1.Insert a paring knife next to the stem, cut around, and remove it.
2.
Cut an “X” into the bottom of the fruit.
3. Drop the fruit into a pot of boiling water for 10–30 seconds. Remove it with a slotted spoon when the skin around the “X” begins to curl. A ripe fruit peels quicker than an under ripe one.
4. Place the fruit in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.
5.
Peel the skin off with a paring knife or your fingers.
