Bread Chicken and Fish

You’ll use different liquids and coating mixtures depending on your recipe, but the basic technique remains the same.Since breading can be a messy process, it’s smart to work one-handed, keeping the other hand clean in case the phone rings!
     
  1. Assemble everything you need before you dig in and get your hands dirty.  
       
  2. Using one hand only—for the entire process—Dredge the meat on all sides in seasoned flour. Shake off excess.  
       
  3. Quickly dip the meat in liquid, coating completely. Shake off excess.  
       
  6. Dredge the moistened meat in bread or cracker crumbs, coating on all sides. Shake off excess. Proceed with your recipe as directed.
